Washboard Blues

On my 351 I have an excellent one piece tinted washboard – strong enough to withstand pretty much anything that might be thrown at it …only problem is the size (<> 2’6” Square) – and trying to find somewhere to stow it, without taking great chunks out of the boat in so doing….

I have a mind to getting it cut it in half (at an angle of course) – has anyone done this – who might I use ... and what are the lessons ?
