Having read the worrying news item last year about a yacht being taken from a buoy in Calais, I am keen to modify the Volvo engine control panel on my Oceanis 331 so that I can stop the engine being started but leave the fridge running.
Looking at the wiring diagram, one solution could be to add another switch in the negative to the engine block (so that the domestic negative is left connected).
(I dont really want to spend £4-500 on a new switch panel with a key!)
Anyone with any other suggestions?
