I believe my 393 has the Amiot traveller system where the mainsheet pulley connects to an apparently fixed connection on the traveller. However, as the mainsheet is pulled in and out, the pulley block has worn down the metal on the traveller connection and is now cracking. These connection points appear fixed on similar Beneteaus I've checked and similar wear is occuring on these too. Does anyone know if these connection points are supposed to be fixed - if so, it seems like a dodgy design. To fix the problem it appears you have to buy a complete new car for £300. Not sure I want to do this if the same thing happens.
