MMMMMMM Burns Night Supper was wow ! Haggis neeps tatties and lamb and a scottish sweet that escapes me! Piped in! Stabbed, ode and the most amazing impromptu night lol almost ever ! I forgot my kilt! Just my sailing cleaning gear lol
We went to out 411 to clean relax, check and have the first weekend away for the year. And just dinner in the RNLI Poole HQ the head of hospitality said come for Burns night!!!! Please Nigel your welcome!
It is modern relaxed and if you are a member of the RNLI, a facility that is open to you !!!! 7 days a week all you have to do is turn up for lunch or Dinner or book in for a weekend Friday and Saturday, you even have a parking place for your car, but not yacht! but i'm working on it! Moore up against Voyageur if you like, and potter across to the slip
Lunch in this modern service facility is inexpensive £4.00 and you get to rub shoulder with the guys who might rescue you Monday to Friday it is a training facility but it is also family oriented for you and your family, Beach, Sea or River rescue trainee's from Monday to Thursday as it is full time training facility.
Friday It becomes a 4 **** hotel with the most amaizing friendly staff and facility's.
How do we know well it's our yacht club lol, well ish, relaxed and no air's or graces, but honest relaxed family atmosphere, we moore outside the door and love it! Is it a secret? Nope, they love you to come and enjoy lunch 7 days a week or dinner 7 days a week and room for a weekend or for your family or friends if you can't do the sleeping on the yacht, Saturday and Sunday, if required or wanted. the staff are attentive relaxed and lovable and remember regulars and friends of the RNLI
This weekend we were invited to the Burns night supper Piper \ Ode reader and orator fo the evening in the High banquet room! You can now even get Married here! As Marilyn keeps reminding me! and .... every penny you spend is a contribution to the RNLI! perhaps your rescue or your most amaising lunch with friends or family perhaps dinner log on to the website see all! And from £26 as a land member or £64 a sea member you can enjoy some of the views from a bar and restaurant and impress you clients business guests or even you family.
