RNLI

My home base is a quiet pile mooring in holes bay Poole I have two yachts my beloved 411 and a Toledo 30 that sails in the 1/4 tunner class parked next to my 411 the other day I get a call from my nice mooring lady at Poole harbour commissioners she .... said luaghing ly
the life boat has hit your boat!! nooooooooooooooooooooooooo! which one Shazam ! God I breath a sigh of relief so trip down to the boats and yep my 30 footer has a scratch from stem to stern above and below the water line to the gell coat! Here is me feeling guilty that I'm going to give a bill to the RNLI for damage and they self insure! the accident happened while crews were training and a dinghy got away in the tide and the rest was history! worse they admit to the damage on Shazam and thats fine but sombody moved the fenders between the boat and the side of Voyageur is damaged as well! worse than Shazam HO hum I feel a paint job needing to be done
