Replacing standing rigging

I'm due to replace the standing rigging for insurance purposes and  I'm thinking of replacing them myself. Do insurance companies accept replacement of standing rigging by non profesionals?
The original Beneteau ones are in excellent condition. Seems wrong to replace them with non professionally made ones. Do Beneteau recommend replacing every 10 years?
