HI All,
Stu.Has very kindly Put this Forum Up So That We Can Have A Central Point Of Information About This Model. So Lets Use It And Make It A Good One.
If you visit here just for a look please leave your boat name model and home port just to give us a feel of the popularity of this little Beneteau.
I have Owned and Sailed Animal a 260Spirit IRL2605 for 5 years now and think she is great, Very well suited to our shallow waters and harbour here in southern Ireland.
We have had our moments though and over the next few weeks I hope to post items on issues we have had and mods we have made,
These Include
Main Sheet Traveler new track and single main sheet
Rudders..............Replaced mounting pins and adj. of blades
Backstay.............Correct mounting
keel.................Lift mech. and quick replacment.
oil pipe.............Corrosion prob.
furlex masthead......Mod to prevent Jamming furlex
water ingress........Mostly fixed but still work in progress
