J have started a new thread so that peeps can see what the subject is. 150 litres is about 33 galls. I have an Eber on my 351 which feeds from the fuel tank, also a Sterling which ups the charging rate to 3 by 85 amp hr batteries plus a 60 amp starter. The engine is a VP2030. My tank capacity is 100 litres and I fill up about 3 times a year. The last 2 years I have been to Ireland from Pwllheli and motor sailed one way both times. The consumption is negligble. I really dont think that you need an extra fuel tank, just carry a couple of 5 gall plastic jerry cans if going on a long journey. Stu I f
