Cleaning Interior Woodwork

Having recently purchased a Antares Series 9, I would be grateful for any advice on suitable solutions for removing finger, and other marks, from the surface of the interior woodwork.

I am reluctant to try anything than a damp cloth, as I do not know exactly what finish has been applied to the wood. Is there any solution that other owners have found to give satisfactory results?
