My 411 Lives on a pile mooring in Holes bay Poole and I have had her now for 18 months and still enjoying every trip so much that I get little time to polish and clean this year!At Cowes I parked next to Patrick Inskips 411 and Voyageur looked dowdy! I have tried several cleaning materials polishes and as I come from a Motor trade background know most of the tricks but to find a polish and cleaner a sealer has been hard but .... I think I'v cracked it!!! First a wash with a strong soap and water mixture to clan off the residues if you use fairy its ok Its biodegradable and won't hurt the plant life or fishes then
you need a big buff polisher with a low to high speed of 1200 rpm to 2500rpm Mine is a Makieta that I have had for years then go to a car paint suppliers and get the largest backing disc and lambswool head
Farcella cutting paste medium then you need a carnuba wax system this seems best a 3 part kit is good, I found mine in Motorist Discount Centre
Wet the area with a hand sprayer [water] damp down area add farcella onto a soft cloth and rub a little into a small area lightly buff with machine as drying at a slow speed keep damping down with hand sprayer then hand finish with good soft cloth then start the carnuba wax process all the process is done by hand it took all day to do one side so I now have a polshed side and a ...... side
