bene 351 engine room fan

realised that the fan that sucks air out of the engine room wasnt working on my 351, took fan off, (inside sugar scoop vhot today!!) and fan was ok, meter said 12volts but when connected to fan drooped to 0v. traced wiring back and found that there is a fuse in the steering column feeding it, the fuse had corroded and would pass 12v but as soon as it was connected would pass nothing, cleaned fuse contacts and replaced aluminium fuse and all ok.
