I am unable to find any info on Leyroy Somer Windlass fitted to my 36CC, does anyone know of any UK dealers or technical details?
I currently have 35 metres of 10mm chain fitted which seems to work fine on the Gypsy, I would like to extend the rode with 3 strand or anchorplait Nylon probably 14 mm diameter.
Does anyone know if the chain Gypsy will handle nylon line? It seems to have a parallel sided grove 14mm wide inside the chain dogs.
I have seen a second rope drum fitted alongside the chain gypsy on some boats, are they available?
