I have a problem in that when the windlass drops the chain (70 metres) into the chain locker it doesn't fall to the bottom of the locker but builds up and eventually the chain jams in the access hole.
I know 70m is a fair amount of chain but the boat is in Turkey and the waters there are deep.
Anyone else had this problem and more importantly, has anyone got any simple solutions.
