Shore Power

The shore power switch panel in my 36CC has (in common with others I suspect), a Blue button for off and a Red button for on. If there is an interruption in the 230V supply at any time, the Red button "flips" out and stays out. I accepted this for some time, thinking it to be correct and just a breaker, as opposed to an RCD. Are all Benny's like this, or could it be a fault? It's a pain when power temporarily goes down at the marina and then the boat is left with no heating/dehumidifier until I go and check it.
