After returning to the boat after a 2 week absense, I've found that the mixer tap in the heads (does the taps / shower) doesn't appear to be working any more. Can't see anything wrong underneath. The taps in the galley both work ok, and the water pump seems fine too. There is no noise from the pump if the shower/mixer is turned on, but there is a very feint trickle of water coming out (as happens when the pump is not turned on). The rest of the electrics in the heads compartment all seem to be working ok too, i.e. the shower bilge drain and the lights, etc.
Any ideas anyone? Is there a valve or sensor somewhere which activates the pump when the tap is turned on? Forgive my ignorance...I've upgraded from a boat where the sole tap was operated by a hand-pump! :-)
