Have been with GJW for years now and got my renewal last week, £335 ish. Hmm its gone up a bit, used to be under £300. Was at the show on Sunday so got a quote off one of the guys there with Navigator, £330, not much difference.
I have been the webmaster for years. Dont laugh at this, but, I update the discounts page regularly and hadnt taken much notice of the content! Silly me, when I put my brain in gear and looked, Haven offer a 12.5% discount. I phoned the nice guys up, not only do they offer a good discount, but their cover is from the Elbe to La Rochelle, the excess is only £150 and they include a few more goodies as well. It all worked out to £274! Well worth doing so I did.
Point two to make is that by joining the Association for £20, I got 2 free Boat Show tickets and saved my self £60 on insurance, no brainer really!
