As and experiment I purchased off ebay 4 led light bulbs they look like a 10p coin with LED units attached to one side for the saloon they are 12v 0.9w each unit and much lower that the quartz bulbs and fitted them in the dome lights with no modifications in the saloon and they are much brighter and only .9w on your battery consumption also some LED side light/ brake light bulbs,for the port/starboard and tail trying to reduce battery consumption and so far well inpressed with what appears to be a much brighter light.
