Mast Electrics Sockets

Noticed a query on another place regarding disconnecting cables prior to mast removal.
On looking at my 36CC I see there are no plugs/sockets but only through deck cable seals.
Is this standard for the breed and are there connections elsewhere to avoid cable cutting when removing mast?
