We have a 2003 Ben. 311 fin keeler with standard two bladed fixed prop. The problem is noise from a revolving prop whilst sailing. It can be solved by putting the control lever in reverse but this procedure is forbidden in the MD 2020 manual. It specifically states "neutral for a fixed prop." The noise is noticeable this season since giving the prop. a really good polish and shine up. So put up with the noise or risk damaging the reverse gear? All other things in that area seem OK.
