Hi,
I intend to by a Beneteau 40 from '96 ,with 4000 hours.
While testsailing it we did not get the engine faster then 3000 rpm
,with a speed of 5.5 knots ,BUT the hull had been in the water for
more then a year and the bottom was ful of Barnacles and growth so was the prop.
After anti fouling and cleaning the prop ,what should be the performance of the engine speed and Rpm ?
