I have an Oceanis 361 and recently decided to buy a new, longer anchor chain. The specification was for a 10mm chain which was in fact purchased in Barcelona (to DIN 766). The chain however no longer fits the gypsy on the Leroy Somer windlass because it has a shorter (45mm) link when compared with the originally fitted longer (50mm) link. According to Beneteau it is only a Plastimo 10mm long link chain that fits the windlass! Does anyone know of a source of supply of a replacement gypsy to rectify this expensive mistake please? I am in touch with Leroy Somer (UK and France) but as yet have no solution. Regards John Broome
