So do we start a race format friendly cruisers sailing for all models not just sporty jobs!
We are a force ! Beneteau owners ! old and new! We all like a bit of fun! And hate to loose lol, but .... a missed cleat!A sail that needs sorting! it's not a problem! Race with yourself! bring your non sailing friends, you are the only racer!
The group decides who won!The best effort! the smallest crew with the kettle on! and fresh tea! and lunch in the pit ! I know mine is faster than yours ok ! race me ! so you loose so what! It's a bit of fun ! his sails are new ! yours are 10 years old! so what! lets make it fun again ! it's about dinner! sailing friends!! and meeting again tomorrow and enjoying the fun! there is always somebody with a new boat bigger sails more experience ! but .... it's being competitive or not! With a cup of tea and a sandwich and plumes of weed and barnacles stuck to my hull it's not how fast! its playing and enjoying being a Beneteau owner xxx Do we play? invite friends? old enemies! fears? I feel we have lost what owning a Beneteau is all about! it's pride in ownership! it does not matter his is shiner or newer than yours! its about taking part! and if yours is the oldest in the fleet then you are the most important Yacht! If you have the newest yacht we want a good look at yours! and yours should be the fastest but... lol it will not be the case! But it's all about having fun! 2011 is a new year lets all chat or Beneteau owner's will slowly die!
As for cost! it's about having fun! Not Cups or Bowls, it's about making friends, swapping story's helping one another and making us all better Beneteau owners xxx for 2011 and later .....
