The factory fitted windlass 36cc currently has 10mm chain, but I wish to reduce to 8mm, which is quite sufficient for my boat. Can I simply change the chain or is the windlass unable to accept smaller link size.
Id rather carry 80m of 8mm than 10mm too.
Anyway, I’ve seen some 36cc owners use this forum so I thought I’d ask.
