windlass will not work ???

I have a 2000 411 with a Somner windlass that will not work off the switches on the top of the windlass I have traced the wiring back to the relay box in the forward head and checked all the wiring and earthed out the up and down switches at the relays and they work fine but the switches don't I also checked the switches, all ok Is there a trip switch somewhere that I have not found ? I have also spoken to Somner and all they ca ntell me is that its not made any more and ther are no spares! left of support but they did forward me a wiring diagram Anybody got any ideas Thanks Nigel Henry
